Journal Article 2021 05 27 The element of time is one of the essential components of any narrative. Without it, the creation of a fictional world would be unimaginable. The use of this element has different effects on the production of meaning, the awareness of the audience, and the dynamics of reading the text. Achieving the method of using the element of time in narrative texts can be effective in enhancing the reading experience and understanding the true intention of the work and its creator. To ascertain the true position of literary works and their authors, it is essential to consider the narratives of sustainable literature. This research aims to analyze two stories, "Didgah" by Majid Qaysari and "Par Oqab" by Habib Ahmadzadeh, using the temporal model of "Genet" in a descriptive-analytical manner and address specific questions. - What method did the writers use to incorporate the element of time in these stories? - What instrumental or conceptual functions does this element serve?<br />The result of this study reveals how authors utilize the element of time in various ways. It was found that each author employed unique methods to enrich the content, reinforce the main theme of the story, and advance the storytelling objectives. عنصر زمان از عناصر کاربردی هر روایت است که نمی‌توان بدون آن خلق جهان داستانی را متصور شد. همین امر موجب شده است مقولة زمان یکی از ارکان اساسی در بررسی روایت‌ها به شمار رفته و موردتوجه بسیاری از منتقدان ادبی قرار گیرد. از آنجا که به‌کارگیری این عنصر تأثیرات متفاوتی در تولید معنی، آگاهی مخاطب و پویایی قرائت متن دارد، دستیابی به شیوة به‌کارگیری عنصر زمان در متون روایی می‌تواند در خوانش بهتر متن و درک جایگاه واقعی اثر و خالق آن مؤثر باشد. ازجمله داستان‌هایی که قابلیت بررسی و محک خوردن از این دیدگاه را دارند تا جایگاه واقعی آثار و نویسندگان آن‌ها مشخص شود، داستان‌های ادبیات پایداری است. این پژوهش در پی آن است تا دو داستان «دیدگاه» از مجید قیصری و «پر عقاب» از حبیب احمدزاده را بر پایة الگوی زمانمندی «ژنت»، به شیوة توصیفی- تحلیلی، مورد بررسی و تحلیل قرار دهد و به این پرسش‌ها پاسخ دهد: - نویسندگان برای کاربرد عنصر زمان در این داستان‌ها چه شگرد و شیوه‌ای را به کار برده‌اند؟ - این عنصر دارای چه کارکردهای ابزاری یا مفهومی است؟ حاصل این بررسی ضمن نشان دادن شیوه‌های به‌کارگیری عنصر زمان توسط نویسندگان، مشخص کرد که هرکدام از آن‌ها با شگردهای مختلف خود، سعی کرده‌اند این عنصر را برای غنی‌سازی بیشتر محتوا، تقویت و تکرار درون‌مایة اصلی داستان و نیز پیشبرد اهداف داستان‌پردازی به کار گیرند. https://rl.shahed.ac.ir/article_3875_ccc81a97c1535f9a631b9db584a264e4.pdf
