Symbols and symbolism play a significant role in creating images and conveying meanings. Color is one of the important components of imagination and the most prominent element in the realm of sensations and forms an important part of the symbolic language of poets and literary writers. Iranshah Ibn Abi al-Khair is one of the epic poets who used the element of color in the Kushnameh poem. Descriptive-analytical method is used in this essay. The findings of the research indicate that the most frequent colors are black, yellow, white, green, red, purple, blue, azure, purple, blue. Black color as a symbol of thickness, darkness, the beauty of the beloved, and yellow color as a symbol of death, weakness and incapacity, betrayal, power, jasmine, and white color as a symbol of brightness, purity and holiness, the contrast fight, raising awareness, science and knowledge, the growth of plants and purple color symbolizing the flag and cover in the scenes of war and color Blue is a symbol of purity and clarity, and azure is a symbol of the sky, describing the sun, religion, and blue is a symbol of preparation for war, and purple is a symbol of joy and happiness.
