The current paper investigates the resistance poem of England literature in two early and final period of World War I. The authors tend to answer the fundamental question: what stylistic and conceptual effects do the experiences of World War I have on England resistance poem? Thus, we investigate the poems "soldier" by Rupert Brooke and "it's sweet and honorable" by Wilfred Owen as the outstanding examples of early and final years' poems of World War I by stylistic approach. As "soldier" has idealistic and patriotic themes and "it's sweet and honorable" violates these themes by its real and deconstruction approach, the poems will be read in the context of modernism and Georgie's schools. Finally "soldier" is an imperial poem and "it's sweet and honorable" is an anti-imperialist poem. The change of resistance from defending homeland to opposition to avarice of great powers is interpreted as the reason of content contrasting of the poems
